From your phone to a yes
See it before they do
You get a preview of exactly what the customer will receive before anything goes out.
Email, sent for you
QuoteMate sends the email with the quote in it and a PDF attached. Replies come straight to you, and you get a copy.
WhatsApp or text, from your number
QuoteMate opens WhatsApp or Messages with the message and the link already written. You press send, so it comes from the number your customer knows.
Nothing for the customer to install
The link opens the quote in their browser. No app, no account, no password.
Accept or decline in a tap
Two clear buttons at the bottom of the quote. They tap one, confirm, and it's done.
You hear straight away
You get an email as soon as they answer, and the quote is marked Accepted or Declined in the app. For emailed quotes you can also see when it's been opened.
The detail
Exactly what it does, and what it doesn't.
- Ways to send
- Email, WhatsApp, text message, or copy the link and send it any way you like.
- Sent by QuoteMate with the quote in the email and a PDF attached. Replies go to your email address. You get a copy unless you turn that off.
- WhatsApp and text
- Sent from your own WhatsApp or Messages, with a link to the quote online. The PDF goes with email only.
- What the customer needs
- Nothing. The link opens in their browser.
- Accepting
- Accept or Decline, then a confirmation. Their answer is final, so if the job changes you send a new quote.
- When they answer
- You get an email, and the quote's status changes in the app.
- Opened
- QuoteMate shows when an emailed quote has been opened, and flags an email that couldn't be delivered.
- Changing a quote
- You can edit and resend a quote while you wait for an answer. Once answered it is locked, and Quote again makes a copy to work from.
- Not included
- Signatures and taking payment. QuoteMate doesn't send reminders for you either: you decide when to chase.
Questions
Does my customer need the QuoteMate app?
No. They tap the link and the quote opens in their browser. There is nothing to download and no account to create.
How does my customer accept a quote?
They tap Accept at the bottom of the quote and confirm. You get an email straight away and the quote shows as Accepted in the app.
Does the WhatsApp message come from my number?
Yes. QuoteMate opens your own WhatsApp, or Messages for a text, with the message and link written for you. You press send, so it arrives from the number your customer already knows.
Is the PDF sent by WhatsApp too?
WhatsApp and text send a link to the quote online. The PDF is attached when you send by email, and you can download it yourself at any time.
Can I change a quote after I have sent it?
Yes, until the customer answers. Edit it and send it again. Once it has been accepted or declined it's locked, and you can use Quote again to start a new one from it.
Can my customer pay through QuoteMate?
No. QuoteMate is for quoting. Put how you want to be paid in the payment terms on the quote.
What if they don't reply?
You can see whether an emailed quote has been opened, and send it again whenever you like. QuoteMate doesn't chase automatically, so the timing stays with you.
