About QuoteMateOne job, done properly: the quote.
QuoteMate is a quoting app for UK sole traders and small trade businesses. You describe the job out loud, it becomes a professional quote, and your customer accepts with one tap.
Why it exists
Quoting is the part of the job that happens after the job. You've done a full day, the paperwork is waiting, and the quote that should have gone out this afternoon goes out on Thursday. By then the customer has heard from someone else.
The work wasn't the problem. The typing was. So QuoteMate takes the typing away. Say what the job is and what it costs while you're still standing in the customer's kitchen, check it over, and send it before you've left the drive.
Who it's for
People who do the work and run the business too: builders, plumbers, electricians, decorators, roofers, plasterers, carpenters, tilers and everyone like them. One van or a small team. If you'd rather be on the tools than on a laptop, it's for you.
What it does
- Turns what you say into a quote with separate, priced lines.
- Tidies the wording of a line with one tap, without changing what you're offering.
- Sends the quote by email with a PDF, or by WhatsApp or text with a link.
- Lets your customer accept or decline with one tap, and tells you when they do.
- Adds VAT if you're registered, and leaves it off if you're not.
What it doesn't do
QuoteMate isn't an accounts package or a job management system. It doesn't do invoices, take payments, run your diary or talk to your accountant's software. We'd rather do the quote well than do ten things halfway. It also never makes up a price: the numbers on your quote are the ones you gave it.
What it costs
Your first 5 quotes are free. After that it's £12.99 a month for as many quotes as you want to send. Cancel anytime, no contract. The pricing page has the detail.
Where we are
QuoteMate is made in the UK, for the way UK trades work: pounds, VAT and plain English. The apps for iPhone and Android are on their way, and you can join the waitlist to hear when they're ready.
